Tampa Bay agreed to terms on a contract with Buffalo Bills free agent linebacker Leon Joe on Monday evening. Joe, 26, was claimed off of waivers by the Bucs last August, but was released before the start of the 2007 regular season.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a contract with Buffalo Bills free agent outside linebacker Leon Joe, according to Rotoworld.com.
This isn't the first time Joe has been a member of the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay claimed Joe, 26, off of waivers on Aug. 28, 2007 after he was released by the Chicago Bears.
However, Joe, who has made his biggest impact in the NFL as a special teams contributor (32 tackles with Chicago), was released by the Buccaneers before the start of the 2007 regular season.
The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Joe originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick out of Maryland in 2004. He has spent time playing for Chicago, Arizona, Tampa Bay and most recently Buffalo.

Ok fine. I'll be honest I have no idea who this kid is or why we're beefing up our practice squad when we need a WR! I know I would be great with this if we had a WR signed. Once that is taken care of I promise to be objective about the rest of these under-the-radar signings of former players.

I agree epcolson. We must have some receivers. After that I think the other items will work out. I assume this guy was CHEAP and we couldn't pass him up? Being close to Tenn. I think Troupe would fit. BUt actually I don't care as long as whoever it is can be part of the TEAM, not a one man show. We aren't built that way and actually hope we never are.
GO BUCS!!!!!!
