Tampa Bay Buccaneer Donte Nicholson was arrested early Sunday morning. The backup safety was charged with misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest without violence. Nicholson was booked and released after posting bail.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, Bucs safety Donte Nicholson was tasered and arrested early Sunday morning outside of a St. Petersburg nightclub. Nicholson, 26, was involved in a disturbance and resisted arrest, which promoted deputies to taser him.
Nicholson was selected by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Over his three seasons in the NFL, Nicholson has been cut and re-signed on a few occasions by Tampa Bay. On Friday July 25th, the Bucs report to training camp to begin the 2008 season.

Lets not make this into a race thing (on either side) cremdonado.
D Nic should be cut. That will make it easier on the BUCS Org.
Other then as a special teams guy he wouldn't be getting any playing time. We still have T Jac, Phill, Sabby, and Will Allen. The kid from the Pats can always go back to safety if need be. We can have any combo of those guys run down on kick off and punt coverage.
We need to get our players signed and prepared to kick @$$ in the NFC south.
How many WRS are the BUCS going to keep and who?
