Bucs defensive coordinator Raheem Morris has emerged as a candidate for the St. Louis Rams head coaching job, according to NFL.com. Morris, who interviewed for the head coaching job in Denver Monday, is expected to interview with the Rams soon.
Morris, who interviewed for the Broncos head coaching job Monday, is on the St. Louis Rams' radar. In fact, according to NFL.com, the Rams have requested and received permission to interview Morris for their head coaching job.
The Rams, who are also interested in Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier and former Giants head coach Jim Fassel, among others, will attempt to schedule the interview with Morris sometime soon.
Morris, 32, signed a two-year contract to become Monte Kiffin's successor as defensive coordinator in Tampa Bay on Dec. 24, but by league rule the Buccaneers cannot prevent him from interviewing for head coaching jobs.
In addition to Morris, the Bucs are also in danger of losing linebackers coach Gus Bradley, who is scheduled to interview for the defensive coordinator job in Seattle today.
