Tampa Bay linebackers coach Gus Bradley will reportedly interview for the defensive coordinator job in Seattle. That news comes on the same day Bucs defensive coordinator Raheem Morris spent in Denver interviewing for the Broncos head coaching job.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Tampa Bay linebackers coach Gus Bradley is scheduled to interview for the defensive coordinator job in Seattle, which is currently occupied by John Marshall, who could be fired as Jim Mora Jr. takes over as head coach for Mike Holmgren.
The Chicago Sun Times reported the Bradley story on Monday, which was the same day Bucs defensive coordinator Raheem Morris spent in Denver interviewing for the head coaching job. Morris signed a two-year contract to become the new defensive coordinator in Tampa Bay on Dec. 24.
Bradley's contract is set to expire with the Buccaneers. He originally joined the Bucs as a quality control coach in 2006 after spending the 2005 season as a defensive coordinator at North Dakota State. Bradley was promoted to linebackers coach in 2007 after Joe Barry, who was recently fired in Detroit, became the Lions defensive coordinator.
Former Bucs defensive line coach/assistant head coach Rod Marinelli, who was fired as Lions head coach last week, is also a candidate for the defensive coordinator job in Seattle.

You know, given that the only really successful Tampa 2 offshoot coach has been Mike Tomlin (and he's more of a Gruden guy) why are WE hemorrhaging personnel?

This is just the norm when you have good coaching. I just hope we can say the same soon with motivated, hard hitting, and hard playing players.

I know, I know. I was just griping. That's the sad thing; I think all these guys are way more Tomlin than Herm Edwards and Lovie Smith. That's why it will be such a shame to lose them.
