Return specialist Clifton Smith (Cliff Welch)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers return specialist Clifton Smith (concussion) is questionable for the Bucs game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Also questionable is WR Michael Clayton (hamstring). Patriots QB Tom Brady (right shoulder) and WR Randy Moss (shoulder) are both probable.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be playing without return specialist Clifton Smith on Sunday. Smith sustained a concussion against Carolina after a hit by the Panthers Dante Wesley. Wesley was ejected from that game and was suspended for this Sunday's game. Smith is one of two Buccaneers listed as questionable.

Wide receiver Michael Clayton is also questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury. Four defensive starters are listed as probable. Defensive tackle Chris Hovan (ankle), linebacker Barrett Ruud (elbow), defensive tackle Ryan Sims (hand), and cornerback Aqib Talib (hamstring) were all listed as probable.

Five players for the Patriots were listed as out: wide receiver Julian Edelman (forearm), tackle Matt Light (knee), running back Sammy Morris (knee), and running back Fred Taylor (ankle). Two New England players were listed as questionable with knee injuries: defensive back Shawn Springs and offensive linemen Dan Donnolly. Four players were listed as probable: safety James Sanders (shoulder), quarterback Tom Brady (right shoulder), wide receiver Randy Moss (shoulder), and safety Brandon Meriweather (foot).

They're giving Clayton a chance to bow out gracefully, hope he takes it.

Why? Why is he not riding the pine? As long as he remains here he should be used as special teams blocker, 4th string WR, and 4th string TE. How he is still listed as our #2 WR is beyond me. No accountability.

They should have left that BUM Clayton back in Tampa. Stroughter is a much better WR and I can't understand why he's not given an opportunity to replace STONE HANDS.

G O B U C S ! ! !

I have to vent here on the shitty new way of reading the pewter report because for some reason the sound off/comments section is "mysteriously" not working. Did you guys get too many people hating it and you don't want all the nasty post on your web site?I think the new digital "magazine sucks! I like the actual magazine in my hand to read. I also like to collect the back issues. But it's clear to see that the pewter report is going just like the Glazers............CHEAP!!!! It's cheaper to put the magazine on line than it is to have all those copies published and printed. I think it's funny how you guys( pewter report ) are trying to sell us on the idea that this is a better version on the magazine because we can hear the article instead of reading it. I also hear you guys( Scott Reynolds ) on Monday's press conferences with Rah Rah and you never ask him hard questions. You always throw him these soft ball questions. This is VERY disappointing. I'm very disappointed in you guys. You guys use to hold people to the fire, at least in the last regime you did. But now it seems like you are "company" men just like the two puppets Rah Rah and Dom............C'mon Man!!!!
