Trueblood Suffers Right Knee Injury

Tampa Bay right tackle Jeremy Trueblood sustained a right knee injury in the second half of the Bucs' 38-7 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Shortly after the game, Pewter Report spoke to Trueblood, who was replaced by T Demar Dotson, about the injury. Although the team plans to do some tests on it, Trueblood believes he simply suffered a bruised knee and thinks he'll be able to play against the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday.

Trueblood is a mess...His sloppy play makes it hard to pull for the guy,it sucks that he's hurt but he is often the cause of flags gettin tossed-it may be a blessin in disguise...

Is that what he calls it is play? I would call it getting his A$$ beat every game. Sorry for the injury but he needs to go as much as Bates.

Actually Dotson is probably better than him anyways, he did good in pass protection.

I honestly think some of you fans just don’t watch the game. I think you watch just to talk badly about the team. Trueblood isn’t a bad tackle. We could be doing a lot worse than him. And I hope he doesn’t miss a lot of time. EVERY lineman of ours gets beat a few times a game. EVERY STINKING one of them. He’s a steady guy. And the false Start penalty on him was Bull. And he held up against some of the best pass rushers in the league. 2 guys gives him fits. Peppers in Carolina and Abraham in Atlanta. But Don’t they give everyone fits? I think it’s funny how the NFC east isn’t going that great this year. I think it’s because they are playing our division which yeah in and year out is one of the toughest divisions in football. If not by record then by just sheer toughness. You buc bashers here really make me laugh. You are the same people who wanted Gruden gone and thought Morris would lead this team to the play-offs this year.

How could you as a Buc fan even type that our Starting OT for the last 4 years goes down and you say that’s a blessing in disguise? That’s Crazy!!! It’s not like He’s Kenyatta Walker or anything

eric2706: You're absolutely right. Why fans always think the guy on the bench, in this case a giant of a man who has only played one year of organized football, is somehow better than the starter because the coach is too stupid to recognize it is amazing to me. That call on Trueblood was right in front of me. He never moved until the ball was snapped. It was BS.

This is why my dream job is to be a back-up QB. You get paid a lot of money for doing basically nothing and everyone thinks you are better than the starter.

The offensive line is talented but the constant scheme and QB changes have destroyed the consistency that the group needs to be successful.
